 Nancy welcomes M.J. Scott to the Lair on April 16 to chat about Iron Kin, the latest installment in her Half-Light City series. On April 18, a familiar face in the Lair joins Nancy to unveil a new identity. We’ll learn why Jessica Andersen became Jesse Hayworth and get the deets on her new series.

Also hitting the shelves, Tawny Weber’s A SEAL’S SURRENDER – a sweet and sexy follow up to last month’s A SEAL’s SEDUCTION. And for some awesome ghostly fun… Anna Campbell will be have a delicious novella, These Haunted Hearts, out on the 10th! You know you’re going to want to read that. Lair favorite Annie West visits on Monday, 4th March, to tell us about her fabulous new release, CAPTIVE IN THE SPOTLIGHT. It’s always great fun when Annie pops in to see us so don’t miss this one!
On March 5, it’s party time in the Lair as Nancy launches her first novella, Protector! It’s the story of a helicopter pilot who’s too hot to handle and a wildland firefighter who isn’t afraid to play with fire. They almost got together once before, but he backed away. Now they’re fighting a wildfire together and are under attack by dark magic. When each day could be their last, will they finally seize this chance at love?
Sven’s crew are whipping up some treats, and Nancy’s giving away a copy of Protector, so come join the party.
On the 7th, Kim Law will be Trish’s guest!
Make sure you swing by the lair on 10th March when Anna Campbell launches her latest novella These Haunted Hearts: A Regency Ghost Romance. There will be giveaways and hijinks and just maybe a ghost or two might turn up to say hello.
On the 14th, Tawny will host the awesome Sia McKye in the Lair. On March 16th Nancy welcomes Avon debut author Jennifer McQuiston to chat about her new historical, What Happens in Scotland.
On March 19th, Cassondra will welcome Wes Sarginson to the lair for the first time. Wes is a former NBC news anchor who has recently launched his first thriller, JUSTIFIABLE, a collaboration with lair favorite and NYT Bestseller Dianna Love. There are rumors floating around the lair that Dianna may show up for the discussion. March 21st is Party Time with Christie. It’s a special birthday celebration here in the lair. March 27th asks…
What makes a military hero so appealing? Is it all in the uniform, the code of honor, or something else? V.R. Marks will visit the Lair and share why the RC Investigations team from his romantic suspense novels The Thief, The Witness, and The Hostage are all former Army Special Ops soldiers.
And winding it all up on March 31st, Tawny will be sharing some cool news and stir up a little wild fun. December 7 – Aussie author Christina Ashcroft/Christina Phillips visits the Lair to tell us about her great new paranormal series from Berkley, starting with the very delicious Archangel Of Mercy. Merciful archangels, what a cover!
December 10 - Anna Campbell is hosting a Christmas launch party in the lair when she tells us all about her latest release, The Winter Wife. We might just get to see Santa do the cha-cha!
December 12 - As the Demon Trappers series comes to an end with the release of Foretold, Jana Oliver joins Nancy Northcott to chat about saying good-bye to a series and characters she loves writing. Even the cover echoes the beauty and melancholy of the series end!
December 13 – Bandita Joan Kayse unveils her debut release The Patrician. Yes, Joan’s Romans have life at long last and we will be partying hard to celebrate their unleashing! (Well, Joan said she would unleash them. Not so sure what will happen once the sangria starts flowing, though!

(Perhaps some will be shivering sooner than others. There’s been some extreme weather up there. We hope our Bandita Buddies and their loved ones are all safe and sound!) Whether you’re trying to beat the heat or getting warm by the fire, it’s a balmy day poolside in the lair.
Here’s what we have coming up for you this month: On November 2, Catherine Gayle will chat to us about her book SEVEN MINUTES IN DEVON. November 3 brings a very special guest–Lorna Doone from Suzanne Ferrell’s new small town contemporary romance, CLOSE TO HOME. Lorna runs the Peaches ‘N Cream cafe, the local hangout where all the good stuff happens (you know the mayor tends to hold court there, most dates start or end there, and any good gossip can be found there), and Lorna has no problem sticking her foot into people’s private or not-so-private business. So if you’re in the mood for a gossip and a good dose of Lorna’s medicine, drop by on Saturday. You’re in for a treat! What a very special event we have coming up on November 6! It’s Election Day in the US and party time in the Lair as Jeanne interviews Nancy to launch RENEGADE.
All good things must come to an end, and SPELLFIRE, the book Nightkeepers fans have been waiting for, will close that series. On November 8, Jessica Anderson joins Nancy to chat about the finale.

Romantic suspense author Melinda Leigh returns to the Lair on September 21. She and Nancy will chat about Melinda’s latest release, Midnight Exposure. And on September 27, Debut author (and 2011 Golden Heart finalist) Valerie Bowman makes her first Lair appearance as Nancy’s guest. They’ll discuss Melinda’s Regency romp, Secrets of a Wedding Night.
That’s what’s on tap for September. We’re packing a LOT into 30 days… the poor rooster is going to be running around like a chicken – hmmm… no, sorry, I can’t bring myself to say it! He’s going to be busy. Let’s leave it at that. Every month in our newsletter, we want to feature one of you – the Bandita Buddy of the Month! Sven is not looking forward to July 5th, because Jeanne and Cassondra will host one of their famous food fights. Join them to voice your opinion about which summer potluck food is your favorite.
Fans of Patricia Rice‘s The Marquess won’t want to miss her visit to the Lair on June 16. She’s releasing The English Heiress, the sequel readers have clamored for. Yes, Michael O’Toole, the marquess’s adopted brother, has his own story at last. Patricia and Nancy will chat about Michael’s journey to publication and Patricia’s other upcoming projects.
A lot of the Bandits will be in Anaheim the next week, but I’ll still be around, and so will a bunch of the other Bandits. The lair will still be hopping, so pop in, keep us company while our Bandita sisters are away, and see what we’re up to.
So that’s July in the Bandit Lair. We have the AC on full, with the GR alternately complaining about the heat outside and boasting about how comfortable he is in the homes of various buddies. Our first June guest is Debra Mullins, who’ll join me June 3 to discuss her western historicals, Donovan’s Bed and The Lawman’s Surrender from Samhain’s Retro imprint. The first full week of the month is a busy one. After Donna’s launch party, Anna Campbell has two terrific guests!
