I am a very happily married woman. Hubby and I will celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary later this year. That said, I still have celebrity crushes. I think part of this is because I’m a romance writer, and I’m always looking for hero inspiration. But part of it is because, you know, I have eyes. So I wondered if maybe the other Banditas had celebrity crushes, too. Ah, this is a fun blog topic.
I really like Jeremy Renner. I cannot tell you how much I’m looking forward to The Avengers. And I recently saw the trailer for The Bourne Legacy, in which Jeremy plays Aaron Cross, a new CIA operative in the world created by Robert Ludlum and made more famous by the Jason Bourne movies starring Matt Damon. Let’s just say I sort of drool over Jeremy’s arms in the trailers for both films.
One of my newest celebrity crushes is Kris Holden-Ried. I saw him in The Tudors, but honestly he didn’t make a huge impression there. But then I started watching Lost Girl a few weeks ago. OMG is he hot in it! He plays Dyson, a light Fae werewolf who has frequent carnal relations with Bo, the succubus lead character. And let me just say, he looks mighty fine without a shirt. Not to mention the dude looks like he’s an excellent kisser. Plus, his character is just fun. He’s very protective of Bo and her sidekick, Kenzi. Let’s see — protective, good guy, hot as a firecracker. Yep, that’s celebrity crush material.
There are two other really nice-looking reasons to look forward to The Avengers — Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Tom Hiddleston as Loki, both of whom starred in last year’s Thor. Chris is the more obvious hottie for most female admirers, but there is something about Tom’s eyes and look that draw me in.
I could go on about some of my other crushes — Orlando Bloom in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Wilson Beth on Hart of Dixie, Devon Sawa on Nikita, Scott Speedman in Underworld, Andrew Lincoln on The Walking Dead — but let’s see who some of the other Banditas crush on.
Anna Sugden — I’m a fan of the Scandinavian look apparently as I like Viggo Mortensen and Travis Fimmel (in his turn on The Beast with the lovely Patrick Swayze). I also liked Lars Mikkelson from The Killing. Brad Pitt and Matt Damon have grown on me. Have long loved Matthew McConnaughey, Colin Firth, Tom Berenger, Richard Gere, Jimmy Smits and Kurt Russell. LOVE Jeff Bridges – Fabulous Baker Boys anyone? I still adore Paul Newman, Cary Grant and Errol Flynn.
Caren Crane — Alan Rickman! I adore him. He is just adorable – especially in Emma Thompson’s version of Sense and Sensibility. Ooh, Michael Fassbender. And Jeremy Northam!
Tawny Weber — I adore Johnny Depp. I have since his 21 Jump Street days. He is everything I adore in a man. Talented and sweet, and oh so sexy. I mean, those cheekbones!! Gorgeous, right? Added to that, he’s a bad boy who’s never quite reformed. One who meets life on his terms and never caved to the Hollywood star machine. Added to that, he has an absolute dedication and adoration of his kids, and a sense of humor that’s just twisted enough for my taste. Yep. Love him!!!
Jo Robertson — If we go with current, I have to mention Ned Stark (Sean Bean) because I fell in love with him with the HBO’s Game of Thrones. Also, Viggo Mortensen. I keep renting Eastern Promises just to see him do that naked fight scene. Be still, my galloping heart!
Joan Kayse– I currently am in love with the actor from The Artist, Jean Dujardin. Even in a silent film, his good humor, kindess, gentleness and personality shines. And his smile ain’t bad either!
Susan Sey — I love Matt Damon. He’s good-looking in a sturdy, accessible sort of way—he gets all dangerous for his Bourne Identity stuff, and yet is totally believable as a slightly schlumpy dad who adores his kids. And guys who adore their kids do it for me. Plus he strikes me as really, really smart, which I find extremely hot.
Suzanne Ferrell — Sigh, so may choices…Gerard Butler, Liam Neesan, Sam Elliott — especially his voice! Clive Owen, Jason Statham, Alex O’Lauglin, Mark Wahlberg.
Nancy Northcott — I guess I’ll go with Viggo Mortenson, for one. He’s thoughtful, articulate, really easy on the eyes, and he buckles a serious swash, as demonstrated in the Lord of the Rings films. For #2, I’ll take Tom Selleck. He’s aging with the grace of vintage wine, and his acting just keeps getting better. To cap it off, he still looks like a heartthrob and isn’t afraid to have the joke be on his character.
Jeanne Adams — Jean Claude Van Damme back in his heyday. OMGosh, the body! I loved him as an action star, and wouldn’t have cared if he spoke. In fact, I’d have preferred he didn’t. Snork! Chris Evans as Captain America. Oh-fan-me-now when he comes out of that Vita-Ray machine. Gut Lawd! Just an all-American-guy, smart, funny, hotter than a matchhead. Snork! Love it! Brendan Fraser in The Mummy movies and George of the Jungle. Another “all-American-guy” sort. In a beefy, action-hero kind of way. Grins. (Trish comment — Speaking of The Mummy, how about Oded Fehr? So good-looking!)
And since so many of the hotties in the upcoming The Avengers (Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston) were mentioned in this post, here’s the awesome trailer for the movie.
So, do you share our celebrity crushes? If not, who do you crush on?
Oh one of my favorite subjects! Trish you know all of these but for the record……my current celebrity obsessions are with BBC actors. Top O’ List – Richard Armitage: First from Spooks (MI-5) then North and&gwen South…then anything I could find. I can’t wait for the Hobbit! It’s those big blue eyes and then he speak and that rich barritone melts me. *thud* Next…Rupert Peary-Jones, Matthew MacFayden (not sure about the spelling). Then across the pond Vancover has a plethora of my faves…Christopher. Heyerdahl – love love love him. Ryand Robbins, Peter Wingfield. Then to end the list we head to the island for a little Jason Momoa – of course.

Lara, you were so excited you posted your answers twice! All excellent choices. I’ll never forget how nervous you were when you met Jason Momoa. It was so cute.
Virginia, congrats on the GR! He seems a little traumatized from spending yesterday with Herself, but don’t let him con you. She did not actually bite him.
Gerard Butler – oh, drooooool! He’s such a hot vampire in ‘Dracula 2000′ and if you haven’t seen that film, go, rent, drool over him!
Alex O’Lauglin – another man who makes a great vampire! I tell ya, this guy was brilliant in that television series ‘Moonlight’… fantastic!
Now, I do adore Christian Slater; as you all know. That high forehead, brown eyes, high cheekbones and hot ass… well, he’s one hot man! And he’s done plenty of films; such a pity quite a few of them were flops; but he does look pretty good in a lot of them.
Hugh Jackman… now who didn’t love this man in the ‘X-Men’ films – especially ‘Wolverine: Origins’ when we all got to see him buck nekked running across a field into some poor old couple’s barn???? Mum and I didn’t mind seeing that at all!
I loved Moonlight too. Was not happy when they canceled it.
And they don’t come any more handsome than Hugh Jackman. I love the X-Men movies and especially him as Wolverine. Hubby and I were big X-Men comic fans in college. There was a comic store next to campus.
Hugh. Manganiello. Fassbender. Holden-Reid. Holden-frickin’-Reid. Trish, you know I’m totally gone over Lost Girl and drenched in KHR as my new new total and complete obsession. Just- ugh – oh – I’ll be in my bunk…
Hey, Kiersten, my fellow lover of Kris Holden-Ried. I tried to put up a photo of him, but the stupid thing wouldn’t load for some reason. And my eyes were beginning to cross. But, everyone, trust us. He is HAWT. Don’t believe us, go to YouTube and look up some Dyson and Bo videos. (Trish fans self.)
If you go to my Facebook fan page and click on the photos section there’s a photo called Me with Famous Peeps. Scroll down to the bottom and you’ll see the photo of me with Joe and Kristin Bauer.
I have this shirtless picture of Joe on one my my storyboards for an upcoming book, and my hubby walked into my office and saw it and said, “That dude doesn’t have a six-pack. He has a twelve-pack.” LOL!
I have to say Hugh Jackman good looking a real nice person love him and yep Rod Stewart still does it for me I saw him on Valentines night and yep he can still rock and roll LOL I also love Harrison Ford Carey Grant and Robert Redford so many to choose from
Helen, I adore Cary Grant. Love Jimmy Stewart too. Just love them.
Of course, ya’ll know about my lifelong adoration of Charlton Heston. Anyone who was around for my post on hairy chests will remember that I am just in lurrrrrve with Charlton as Moses-the-Egyptian. Once the beard comes, not so much…grins.
And planet of the apes. Yeah.
I know, I know. Other things NOT to like about him, but….
Oh, Harrison Ford. I cannot tell you how much I daydreamed about him when I was young and the Indiana Jones movies were coming out. Of course I didn’t realize then that he was as old as my mom.
I had to look up Charlie because I’ve never seen Sons of Anarchy. Not bad.
I love Timothy Olyphant. Tall, long-limbed, rangy, and there’s just something laid back about his attitude until his character has to pull a gun and start shooting bad dudes.
You can add me to the Olyphant fan club. I even sat through some icky zombie movie because he was the hero. He got a nod from Nora Roberts, too, at the end of Chasing Fire (a fabbo book).
I’m really excited about “The Avengers” and seeing Jeremy as Hawkeye. I’ve always loved Eric Bana as does Aunty Cindy. Right now I’m crushing on Henry Cavill and can’t wait to see him as Superman.
Oh, you’ve come to the right place, Serenissima. This is also known as the Richard Armitage Fan Club. Many of us really like him, but Anna Campbell takes that to new heights. Grins.
He’s in the Capt. America movie as a villain. Le sigh.
Jeanne,
Thanks for welcome.
Yes, I know about Anna´s “partiality” or should I say “obsession” to RA. If I am correct, she wrote her first Avon romance “Claiming the Courtesan” picturing Justin as RA. Le Sigh.
Serenissima, actually it’s odder than that. I wrote CTC and then when she read it, Christina our Bandita told me that Richard Armitage was Kylemore come to life, right down to the long, lean body and the deep-set dark-blue eyes. I watched North and South and it was like I’d been channeling RA when I wrote that book. Clearly RA and I are meant to BEEEEEEEE!
Back AWAY from my Richard, La Campbell !! You KNOW how much I love him AND Kylemore!!
I am also a huge Gerard Butler fan – 300 and Phantom.
Love Alan Rickman for his vulnerability. Nobody does it better.
A soap opera actor I have always loved is Roger Howarth. Google him and check out his many looks. He played Todd Manning on One Life to Live. I actually got to see him on Broadway in The Lion in Winter playing King Phillip opposite Laurence Fishburne as Henry II and Stockard Channing as Eleanor of Aquitaine. He was amazing and completely held his own against the big guns.
When I lived in Germany (near the Belgian border), I was hot for JCVD , the Muscles from Brussels. Many years later, I am hot for Aussie Alex. Maybe I pick up on the local boys?!?!
Alex is awesome. I thought he was good looking in Moonlight, but I like his look in 5-0 even more. Plus, I love how he and Danno interact. They’re funny.
I am addicted to Donny Wahlberg, Antonio Banderas (and his alter ego Puss in Boots – who knew a cat wearing boots could have such a sexy voice…) , Viggo Mortensen (Lord of the Rings)…my list could go on and on…
Trish, great job pulling everything together! The crushes from the banditas and our buddies cover a wide range, though I notice there’s a lot of overrlap.
I’m still in Atlanta, getting ready to head to the GRW meeting. Will check in again when I get home.
We missed you! The speaker was Jana Oliver, who’ll join us next month to discuss the 3rd installment of her Demon Trapper’s Daughter YA series. She put a humorous spin on handling all the conflicting advice writers get.
Alex O’Loughlin is at the top, currently, followed by Timothy Olyphant from Justified. (Raylan, Raylan, Raylan…sigh). Warren Christie from Alphas is smoking hot, and Sam Worthington. Also, have a teeny crush on Geoff Stults from The Finder.
A bit early in the morning to swoon but for my Banditas and BB’s I’ll do it.
“thunk”
What? Oh, right crushes. First off I apologize to Dujurdan…I can’t spell his name for anything but really…what is name when he’s got that devilish glint in his eye? I LOVED that he made a surprise appearance on SNL last weekend.
Another current crush I have is Manu Bennett who is Crixus in Spartacus Vengence. I think his character has come out a lot in the face of a new actor playing the lead. I want him and Naevia to escape….now! And have their HEA!
Joanie, I loved Manu in that role. Love the show. I was so heartbroken when Andy Whitfield died and he had to be recast. I haven’t seen Liam McIntyre in the role yet since I have to wait for the DVDs to come out. I also saw where they recast Naevia when Lesley-Anne Brandt left.
Trish, I feel sorry for the new Spartacus…he’s just “ok” in the role…not the leashed intensity of Andy. I THINK it’s because he actually “lived” through Spartacus development and it reflected in his portrayal. I was sad Naivia was recast
Ah, celebrity crushes – probably the reason I write. They come and go. I was in love with Randolph Mantooth (Johnny Gage on Emergency) for years. Today I have several, please don’t tell George Clooney he’s been replaced as my primary muse as he’ll always be my inspiration for CPT Jack McIntyre. My Bad Karma team is comprised of Max Martini, Joe Manganiello, Jensen Ackles and Shemar Moore. And before you think I’ve gone off the deep end, I have to clarify I’m a scrapbooker, thus the collage of my team of hunky heroes: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=285739544826857&set=a.187822984618514.46707.187819174618895&type=3&theater
Oh NO!! Not wrestling you for Shemar!! I claimed him some time ago. Y’all know he’s my inspiration for Will Danville, the hero for my next Los Hombres erotica, right?
Awesome collage of heroes, Tracy. Ah, Jensen. Love him and Jared Padalecki. Supernatural is one of my favorite shows. And I went to a SPN fan con last summer and met them briefly. It’s really nice when someone like that turns out to be nice people too. For instance, Jared and his wife are having a baby, and instead of gifts they’ve asked that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, which treats children with cancer regardless if the parents can pay for the treatment. I think that’s awesome. I think they’ve had more than $25,000 in donations made so far.
(Trish comment — Speaking of The Mummy, how about Oded Fehr? So good-looking!)
Oh yeah, those creepy mummies are not my cup of tea but I watch the movies over and over anyway because of the eye candy. Oden Fehr and Brendan Fraser, what is not to love? George of the Jungle, oh yeah, again, what is not to love? Mrs. Winterbourne is another one that gets my attention, very cool movie with Brendan Fraser.
Colin Firth is another one I find very drool worthy.
How about Mark Harmon? I love that man, from a distance of course but really, those eyes and that snarky little smile of his sighhh.
Does anybody (actually is anyone old enough?) remember him in St. Elsewhere? Watched that show faithfully but totally freaked me out when a woman got to him with a razor blade. I never watched it after that.
I was young, but I do remember watching St. Elsewhere. I really liked Mark Harmon when he had a stint on The West Wing as Secret Service Agent Donovan.
OMG, I can’t believe I forgot Karl Urban. He was a fantastic Bones! And to tell you how much I like him, I watched The Pathfinder, which was a dreadful movie, and Doom, which had little to redeem it besides him.
Richard Armitage…sexy and smart. Loved him in North & South, and in everything else he’s been in. Can’t wait for The Hobbit. (If you’ve never had the pleasure, I’d tell you all how much you are missing but then I’d have to share you with him.)
And I secretly adore Peter Firth, who played MI-5 boss Sir Harry Pearce in the BBC show “Spooks” — power is an aphrodisiac (and boy does he got the power). Plus, Harry was so hopelessly, tragically in love with the brilliant analyst Ruth. Sigh.
It is the Richard Armitage Admiration Society around here, isn’t it? I loved North and South and loved the music in it. Was bummed when I couldn’t find a soundtrack. Really looking forward to The Hobbit.
If there was only one it would have to be Nathan Fillion of Castle fame. I’ve recently discovered his scifi show, Firefly. I love him in both. Young and more mature lol.
Tom Hiddleston is the romantic lead in one of the BBC Austen adaptations. Is it Northanger Abbey? No, just looked it up – he was the lead in the lovely Cranford first series with Judi Dench. He’s so charming in that!
Wow, a hot day here in South East Queensland just got HOTTER!!!! Wow, talk about distraction. What a fabulous list. Nobody mentioned my darling Richard Armitage. Does that mean he’s mine, all mine? Awwww, what a pity (she said so insincerely!). Actually gotta admit a fondness for a long lean streak of deliciousness so Viggo does it for me too and I love Brendan Fraser, too, Jeanne. I love that there’s always a bit of a twinkle in his eye even when he’s playing beefcake. You know he’s smarter than he’s letting on! Trish, mega fun post!
I know he’s getting a bit long in the tooth now but I’ve always had a huge crush on Mandy Patinkin. He’s not conventionally handsome but there’s just something really compelling about him on screen. And man, he can sing like a hunky angel. What’s not to like?
He is talented, I’ll give him that. Speaking of actors who are not conventionally handsome but ones who are compelling and attractive in less conventional ways, I always really like both Tony Curran and Michael Sheen.
Speaking of the not-conventionally-handsome hero, that’s the type I usually go for. So often, handsome guys don’t have the intelligence and depth of character that make for a truly swoon-worthy man.
Somehow, Richard Armitage manages to portray the complete package: Brains, brawn and beauty.
This is a great topic, especially because I just finished watching Star Trek again and OMG, am I in love with Zachary Quinto (Spock)! Alan Rickman is a forever crush….as is Patrick Stewart. And Oded Fehr.
I am all about how they sound when they’re reciting love poetry to me in the dark… Someone fetch me a cold drink, please.
Zachary made an excellent Spock. Actually, I love how they cast that entire movie. You could really imagine these people as the younger versions of the characters we’ve known for years.
A lot of my faves have already been mentioned. Seconds on Nathan Fillion! I’m also a huge John Barrowman fan and I’d love to see the two of them in the same show playing brothers, as they look very much alike and have similar personalities. (That’s one thing I love about a guy, when he has a good sense of humor as both of them do!) Always loved the dark-haired, blue-eyed, smoldering types — Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth and more recently Jason Isaacs. And in the getting-better-with-age department, Sean Connery and Michael Crawford. Just saw Crawford in the Phantom 25th Anniversary and waxed nostalgic over the times I saw him on Broadway in the original. That voice, and his grace of movement, and just the way his hands spoke volumes all by themselves… (swoon!) Nobody else has ever measured up since in that role.
EC, Michael Crawford was BRILLIANT as the Phantom. Adored him in that. I’ve not enjoyed it as much with other actors. Kinda like there’s only one Mrs. Lovett, and only one Sweeney Todd fo rme – Len Cariou and Angela Landsbury. :> Simply superb.
Celebrity crush, eh? Enjoyed reading about yours, Trish, and also Anna’s, Caren’s, Tawny’s, Jo’s, Joan’s, Susan’s, Suzanne’s, Nancy’s and Jeanne’s.
As for mine – where do I begin? Gerard Butler, Richard Armitage, Jensen Ackles, Ewan McGregor, Viggo Mortensen, Sean Bean and Robert Carlyle. Just typing their names makes me smile.
Nice choices, Julia. I really liked Robert Carlyle in Stargate Universe. Bummed they canceled it and didn’t really give it a chance. He’s deliciously creepy in Once Upon a Time.
Where shall I begin? David Boreanaz, Alex
O’Loughlin, Tim DeKay, Matt Bomer, Donny
Wahlberg, Pierce Brosnan, Steve McQueen,
Matthew McConnaughy, Mark Harmon, and
my old friend from the NFL. What’s the phrase?
He who shall be unnamed forever!
Is he coming home with me.
He is indeed. Don’t tell him differently, but the rooster thinks he’s everyone’s celebrity crush.
Oh one of my favorite subjects! Trish you know all of these but for the record……my current celebrity obsessions are with BBC actors. All excellent choices. I’ll never forget how nervous you were when you met Jason Momoa. It was so cute.
Aha! Looks like Lara is another fan of Richard Armitage. Excellent choice!
Enjoy your day with him Virginia
Have Fun
Helen
Virginia, congrats on the GR! He seems a little traumatized from spending yesterday with Herself, but don’t let him con you. She did not actually bite him.
Really, that’s too bad, Nancy. Sigh.
Virginia, congrats (I think) on catching the chookie. Have fun!
I am pretty fond of Nathan Fallin, George Clooney, Kevin Costner and believe it of not Sam Elliott, love that mans voice.
Ah, I love Nathan Fillion, particularly in the Firefly days.
Ohhhh, Sam Elliot’s voice. Ohhhhh. Yeah. Love that. :>
Hey Virginia!
Isn’t Sam’s voice great! He makes beef and trucks sound sexy!!
Sam Elliott is one of those people I could listen to read the tax code or the phone book. Sam with Liam Neeson.
Gerard Butler – oh, drooooool! He’s such a hot vampire in ‘Dracula 2000′ and if you haven’t seen that film, go, rent, drool over him!

OH, such great choices. And yes, what’s not to love about that running nekkid scene?
Grins.
Oh, btw Kiersten, I had my photo taken with Joe Mangniello. He is just as hot in person. (More fanning)
You had a photo with Manganiello?!?!?!? I may hate you now. Despite that, here’s a KHR treat http://kierstenkrum.tumblr.com/post/17806372801/what-kind-of-stuff-do-you-watch-on-youtube
Oh, no, don’t hate me!

I have this shirtless picture of Joe on one my my storyboards for an upcoming book, and my hubby walked into my office and saw it and said, “That dude doesn’t have a six-pack. He has a twelve-pack.” LOL!
Trish
A fun post
I have to say Hugh Jackman good looking a real nice person love him and yep Rod Stewart still does it for me I saw him on Valentines night and yep he can still rock and roll LOL I also love Harrison Ford Carey Grant and Robert Redford so many to choose from
Have Fun

Helen, I adore Cary Grant. Love Jimmy Stewart too. Just love them.

Jane, I’m a big fan of Jeremy’s too and can’t wait to see him as Hawkeye in a bigger role.
Love Eric too, but have to say, hardly recognized him in Star Trek. Whoa! Great makeup job!
Loved Eric Bana in Troy. Whew, hotness.
Jeremy has yet another movie out this year I want to see — Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters.
Richard Armitage (Mr Thornton from BBC`s North&South) makes my heart sing every time he appears in anything. Le Sigh.
Oh, you’ve come to the right place, Serenissima. This is also known as the Richard Armitage Fan Club. Many of us really like him, but Anna Campbell takes that to new heights. Grins.
He’s in the Capt. America movie as a villain. Le sigh.
But RA will rule in The Hobbit! Beaucoup de sighs.
Wait, I didn’t know Richard was in Captain America. I haven’t seen it yet. Off to move it up my Netflix queue.
It’s a bit part during and just after Steve Rogers becomes CA. Armitage was good.
Jeanne,
Thanks for welcome.

Anna, I am so waiting for your big news in March!
I’ll take them all thank you. My favourites are listed: Alan Rickman, Viggo Mortenson & Johnny Depp.
LOL! You’re going to have a fight with Tawny on your hands for Johnny though. She lurrrvves him.
When I lived in Germany (near the Belgian border), I was hot for JCVD , the Muscles from Brussels. Many years later, I am hot for Aussie Alex. Maybe I pick up on the local boys?!?!
Kim, my sistah! While I’ve heard that JCVD is an unmitigated ass in person, he sure was lovely to look at. Grins.
Alex is awesome. I thought he was good looking in Moonlight, but I like his look in 5-0 even more. Plus, I love how he and Danno interact. They’re funny.
I am addicted to Donny Wahlberg, Antonio Banderas (and his alter ego Puss in Boots – who knew a cat wearing boots could have such a sexy voice…) , Viggo Mortensen (Lord of the Rings)…my list could go on and on…
I haven’t seen Puss in Boots yet, but I liked Antonio as that character in the Shrek movies. It’s all in the attitude.
Trish, great job pulling everything together! The crushes from the banditas and our buddies cover a wide range, though I notice there’s a lot of overrlap.
I’m still in Atlanta, getting ready to head to the GRW meeting. Will check in again when I get home.
Have fun, y’all!
Have fun at GRW! Tell everyone hi for me.
We missed you! The speaker was Jana Oliver, who’ll join us next month to discuss the 3rd installment of her Demon Trapper’s Daughter YA series. She put a humorous spin on handling all the conflicting advice writers get.
My list–ahem.
All most excellent choices. I am really enjoying The Finder. Geoff has a great character in that.
I loved Sam Worthington in Avatar and Terminator Salvation. It’s something when you can make a big, blue alien looking hot.
I read an interview with Liam recently about how much pressure he felt to do well in the role to honor Andy’s memory. He seems like a nice guy.
How did I miss Jeremy Renner?? Love!
Isn’t he awesome? Have you seen the trailer for The Bourne Legacy? Must watch.
And before you think I’ve gone off the deep end, I have to clarify I’m a scrapbooker, thus the collage of my team of hunky heroes:

Ah, Tracy P! Randy Gage! OMGosh, totally forgot about him. Wow.
And hey, Suz and I will wrestle you for Shemar Moore. He’s slurrrrrpy!
Aha, Dianna!! Gibbs. Mark Harmon makes the name Jethro sexy, doesn’t he? Love, love, love him in that roll!
Okay…Karl Urban!
He made Bones sexy in the Star Trek movie. He was oh so sexy in LOTR and hell I even lusted after him as Ares in the Xenia Warrior Princess show!
And of course Robert Downey Junior as Sherlock Holmes! Yummo!! He’s really given that character….CHARACTER!
OMG, I can’t believe I forgot Karl Urban. He was a fantastic Bones! And to tell you how much I like him, I watched The Pathfinder, which was a dreadful movie, and Doom, which had little to redeem it besides him.
Ohhhh, Karl Urban! Ohhhh yes’m!
Love me some Karl.
And Trish, I’m right there on Oded Fehr too. YUMMMY!!!
Sigh.
Um….share HIM with YOU
It is the Richard Armitage Admiration Society around here, isn’t it?
I loved North and South and loved the music in it. Was bummed when I couldn’t find a soundtrack. Really looking forward to The Hobbit.
Oes Noes!!!! Someone beat me to the Richard prize! Slumping off to whimper into my breakfast.
LOL Don’t cry, Anna. I believe Serenissima claimed RA first, but she can’t have him all to herself!
I KNEW I’d have competition! Sheesh!
Okay ladies, I am in a good mood and ready to share if you are! LOL. But just remember I was the first one to name him in this blog!
If there was only one it would have to be Nathan Fillion of Castle fame. I’ve recently discovered his scifi show, Firefly. I love him in both. Young and more mature lol.
Isn’t Firefly and Captain Mal awesome?! It’s my all-time favorite show.
Tom Hiddleston was amazing in The War Horse.
Oh, good to know. I wanted to see that movie over the holidays but never got around to it. Will definitely watch when it comes out on DVD.
He’s awesome as Loki. It’s one of those times where I want to see more of the villain on screen.
Tom Hiddleston is the romantic lead in one of the BBC Austen adaptations. Is it Northanger Abbey? No, just looked it up – he was the lead in the lovely Cranford first series with Judi Dench. He’s so charming in that!
Oh, I must check this out! Thanks for the tip, Anna.
Ah, Anna, president of the Richard Armitage Admiration Society.
You know, I like Viggo a lot, but in the LOTR movies, I really loved David Wenham as Faramir.
Trish, David Wenham really was outstanding as Farmir, wasn’t he? I really liked him in that!
Gillian, you’re list is right in line with mine. Grins. And I too was all about Zachary Quinto.
Trish, you’re right in that they really, really cast that well. I also fell in love with the guy who played Scotty in the new Star Trek.
“This is exciting!” Snork!!!
LOL! Simon Pegg, he was funny. I also thought it was hilarious how the ship’s computer couldn’t understand Chekov (Anton Yelchin).
I really like John Barrowman in Torchwood. It’s wild to think that he spent a summer working here at Opryland Theme Park when it was still here.
BTW, Trish, congrats on those 20 years to you and Hubby!
Hear, hear!! I second that anniversary wish, Trish! Happy 20 to you and your darling DH and many, many, many more!
Thanks, gals. It won’t be until November for the actual anniversary though.
Pat C.
Ian Somerhalder has that dark hair/blue eyes combo I just adore. Too bad I dislike the Vampire Diaries books so much that I refuse to watch the show.
Back in the day: Cary Grant in “Bringing Up Baby”, Jude Law in “Gattaca”, and Orlando Bloom in the LOTR movies.
