Coming to the Lair in June!

Wow, it’s June already! The boy is home from school, the dh is muttering about summer school, and many RWA members are already thinking ahead to the national conference next month. Before we get to that, though, we have an exciting month to enjoy!
There are several bandita releases this month: Donna’s The Casanova Code, Christina’s A Duchess to Remember, Tawny’s “Wild Thing” in the Blazing Bedtime Stories VII anthology, Anna C.’s “The Chinese Bed” in The Mammoth Book of Ghost Romance, and Beth’s Unraveling the Past. Anna C. has a contest going, too. More details below!

Our first June guest is Debra Mullins, who’ll join me June 3 to discuss her western historicals, Donovan’s Bed and The Lawman’s Surrender from Samhain’s Retro imprint. If you enjoy a good western, don’t miss Deb’s visit!
Then on June 5, it’s Party Time in the Lair. Join us and kick up your heels as Donna launches The Casanova Code, Book 1 of The Rake Patrol.

The first full week of the month is a busy one. After Donna’s launch party, Anna Campbell has two terrific guests!
On Wednesday, 6th June, Anna Campbell hosts uber talented Aussie fantasy romance author M.J. Scott (www.mjscott.net) who will be talking about her latest release in the Half-Light City Series, BLOOD KIN.

On Thursday, 7th June, lair favorite Annie West (www.annie-west.com) returns to talk about her latest North American release, the sublime UNDONE BY HIS TOUCH.

On 10th June, Anna Campbell launches The Mammoth Book of Ghost Romance, which includes her story “The Chinese Bed.” We’ll party hearty for that one! Info about Anna’s contest in honor of the launch is at the bottom of the newsletter.

We’ll rock along with just the usual crowd for a few days–you know, recovering from all this fun, giving Sven’s crew a chance to tidy up a bit–until Tawny celebrates the official launch of the Blazing Bedtime Stories VII antho, which includes her short story “Wild Thing.”
Just call him Prince Charming…Compared to her beautiful siblings, groomer Andrea Tanner always felt like an ugly stepsister. But when she’s left tied up and fuming, her prize pooch, Medusa, stolen, Andrea can’t help hoping her prince will come. And he does.Hunky P.I. Percy Graham arrives in time to save the day—and to remind her that he hasn’t forgotten the naughty night they once shared….
On June 19, Suz welcomes J. A. London to the Lair.
June 20 is another party day, as Beth launches her latest Superromance, Unraveling the Past.

Break out the cabana boys, it’s party time again! The third in Christina Brooke’s Ministry of Marriage series, A DUCHESS TO REMEMBER is out on June 26!
Wow, we have a rocking month ahead! Sven looks worried. *g* But he swears there’ll be no store-bought canapes at any party he supervises.
On June 27, Regina Hart continues her series with the professional basketball team – the Brooklyn Monarchs – with this “ripped-from-the-headlines” tale of marriage on the rocks, Keeping Score. Professional basketball player Warrick Evans has avoided scandal and media attention while getting the Brooklyn Monarchs to the playoffs. Now the media and public are delving into the intimate details of his personal life. While never doubting her love for her husband, Dr. Marilyn Devry-Evans begins wondering whether this is the life she wants.
Liz Lipperman visits with Suz on June 28 with BEEF STOLEN OFF, the second in a series. And isn’t that an intriguing title?

Join us on June 29th as award-winning author Tamara Hogan drops in to chat about CHASE ME, the latest installment in her Underbelly Chronicles. Tamara writes paranormal romance with a sci-fi twist, set in a world skimming just under the surface of ours. Drop in and get to know her!
June 30 will be a day of rest and gladness of the cabana boys before we roll on into July. It’s also the last day of Anna Campbell’s cool contest.
To celebrate the release of her novelette, “The Chinese Bed”, in THE MAMMOTH BOOK OF GHOST ROMANCE which is available on 7th June, Anna Campbell is giving away THREE copies of this wonderful anthology to lucky readers. All you need to do is email Anna on anna AT annacampbell DOT info with the name of the hero and heroine of “The Chinese Bed.” Just a hint – you might find the answer here: http://annacampbell.info/chinesebed.html
The contest closes 30th June, 2012, and entry is open internationally. For more information, please check out Anna’s website at: http://annacampbell.info/contest.html
