Choosing A Favorite

I’m really not an indecisive person.  I am actually pretty good at knowing what I want and what my favorites are.  Some people might call that picky, and they’d be right.  I rarely invest calories, money or time on things unless I love them.  This makes me a very easy person to go to dinner with, and I’m hell on wheels when it comes to shopping.

How about a little Either/Or fun to see what you’re favorites are?

Sees or Godiva?

choose cake

Margarita or Beer?

Chocolate or Vanilla?

Hothouse or Wildflowers?

Iced tea or Soda?

choose flower

Dogs or Cats?

Heels or Flats?

choose margarita

My answers?

Sees, especially Nuts & Chews (although I love the California Brittle!)

Pomegranate Margarita, but only if it’s blended.  I love the tarty yumminess.  Best drunk ever!!!

I’m all about the chocolate, especially when it comes to cake.  German Chocolate is my go-to, but i’m happy with it in almost any other form.

I love all flowers, but my favorites are roses, irises and stargazer lilies.  The lilies for their scent, roses and irises because they were the first bouquet my husband ever gave me.

I’m pretty sure if you cut me open, I’d bleed tea.  Iced only (sorry, Anna) by the gallon.  I haven’t had soda in over 20 years (freaky, right?)

Oh, this is a toughie for me!! But (looking around) don’t tell my cat, okay?  I’m more of a dog person.  Cats rock, but my dogs are so fabulous.  Check out Daisy Mae… how could I not love that silly face?!

Heels!  Nothing makes the legs look better than heels of any height. I’ll take a 1/4 inch heel over a flat, even 😀

See, decisive, right?  But when it comes to my books, I just can’t choose.  Especially my Sexy SEALs. Ever one of these stories is special to me and a favorite in one way or another.  A SEAL’s Salvation is my favorite because it is the first, last, only book I’ve written specifically to theme and I loved the heroine’s lesson.

A SEAL’s Surrender is a favorite because I adore  klutzy Eden and how she hero worships Cade. But most of all I love the epilogue.

A SEAL’s Salvation… Oh, Brody!  I adore bad boys, and he is the ultimate. Poor tortured guy, he is, to date, my favorite hero I’ve written.

And a SEAL’s Kiss, which is out in print today and in digital on April 1 (no joke) Sage is the heroine who is the most like me, which made this so fun to write.  Add to that my own twist on the traditional engagement-of-convenience trope, and I love this one, too!

I’ll have two more SEALs out this year; A SEAL’s Fantasy in September and A SEAL’s Secrets in November.  I’m sure they’re going to make choosing even MORE difficult.

How about you?  What are your favorites?  SEALs or from the Either/Or choices above 😀

    Hello Tawny,
Sees- I like the peanut brittle.
    Margarita, especially mango margaritas.
Chocolate- I’m not the biggest fan of vanilla, but I do like vanilla ice cream.
    Hothouse- Love tulips
Definitely love soda, but I also like iced tea.
    Like both dogs and cats.
I prefer flats, but also love my heels.

    • Tawny Weber says:

      HI Jane 🙂

OMG Sees peanut brittle is so delish!!!! I love all of your choices 😉 I’m with you on vanilla ice cream, especially french vanilla. It’s always a great contrast to the chocolate cake or brownie I eat it with LOL

  • Amy Conley says:

Tough choices! I am picky, but I know what I like and what I don’t so it is easy.
MARGURITAS OR BEER: Depends on my mood, but give me a frozen strawberry margarita and I will gladly deink it.
CHOCOLATE:ANY as long as it isn’t white.
FLOWERS: ANY. Hubby bought me some red roses once, but like any flower which has a great scent, like gardinias.
ICED TEA OR SODA: Again, it depends on my mood and the weather. Now I usually drink more soft drinks (Pepsi One for me), but I LOVE a good iced cold glass if sweet tea. I also like hot tea. I was raised on hot tea. We didn’t drink milk in the morning for breakfast, we ALWAYS had hot tea. These days I’m more into natural teas. And just so you know, I do NOT want lemon in my tea, EVER! Not hot or cold!
DOGS OR CATS: I love both. I have 2 cats right now, but if we find the perfect little dog, it will be mine!
HEELS OR FLATS: I love me some FMPs, but I very seldom wear them because of my knees. 2 hours in heels is 2 weeks of swelling and excruciating pain in my knees 🙁

Give me ANY man in uniform. See, I’m easy! LOL

    • Tawny Weber says:

LOL easy indeed, Amy 😀 I’m with you -a guy in uniform? Yummmmy!!!!!

And with being totally anti-lemon in the tea! If I want lemon, I’ll have lemonade LOL

OMG your poor knees!! I adore heels and am so frustrated that after two breaks and a sever sprain, my foot protests them quite loudly. Like you, maybe two hours and then I’m hobbling.

  • Helen says:

I am pretty easy at choosing as well

I would say Cadbury or Lindt chocolate seeing as I have tried the other ones
    Both chocolate and vanilla
    All flowers
Soft drink I am not and iced tea person
I love both dogs and cats but we do have a new puppy and he is so cute 🙂
Has to be flats my knees and ankles do not like heels
And I have to say choosing one of yours Seals is just way too hard I love them all 🙂

    Have Fun

    • Tawny Weber says:

Helen, mmmm, you have great taste in chocolate 😀 I wish you were closer- we could drink margaritas together 😉

Thank you for the SEAL love, too!!

  • Laurie G says:

    Sees or Godiva?
I’ve never tried either! Russel Stover

    Margarita or Beer?
I can’t stand the sour off taste of beer

    Chocolate or Vanilla?

    Hothouse or Wildflowers?
Wildflowers love daisies, flocks, lilies of the valley, wild violets, wild roses and daylilies.

    Iced tea or Soda?
I will rarely drink a diet 7 UP. My drink of choice is water.

    Dogs or Cats?

    Heels or Flats?
Flats- I wear tennis shoes almost all the time.

    Love your SEALS Tawny!

    • Tawny Weber says:

Laurie, water rocks 😀 My third favorite drink (after iced tea and margaritas LOL) And yes, I feel exactly the same about beer.

Thank you so much for the SEAL love 😀

  • Shannon says:

Sees or Godiva? If it’s white chocolate…

Choose cake: cheese cake, either classic or pumpkin

    Chocolate or Vanilla? Vanilla

Hothouse or Wildflowers? In the winter, there’s nothing like a hothouse rose. I always buy the forced hyacinths for the house in spring. But I still love my old lawn where I naturalized dozens of daffodils all along the creek bed and then had the masses of bush roses at the end of the lot.

    Iced tea or Soda? Both.

Choose flower. Probably hyacinth or lilac because each is only available for such a short time and both smell divine.

Dogs or Cats? Cats. Especially virtual ones these day.

Heels or Flats? Flats. My bad knee acts up after an hour.

    • Tawny Weber says:

Mmm, Shannon, Sees has a delish white chocolate truffle at various times during the year that’s so good. Not that I’m a Sees expert or anything LOL.

Your yard sounds gorgeous! I adore hyacinths and lilacs, too but am not very skilled at growing them 🙂 I wish I were!!

  • flchen1 says:

Woot, Tawny! Happy release! You are one busy woman, which makes us readers so very happy!

I think Sees, but I wouldn’t turn down Godiva either!

    Cake?? All of them 😀

Vanilla, but sometimes chocolate for variety’s sake…

Wild flowers, but off season, it’s fun to see the hothouse ones!

Flats for comfort but heels for style and height!!

    • Tawny Weber says:

LOL Fedora, there is very little in the way of chocolate that I’d turn down 😉

Thank you SO much for the sweet words! I really appreciate it 🙂

  • Debbie says:

    Margarita, definitely margarita

Either, I love all kinds of flowers

Iced tea but it has to be sweetened

Both, I have both and love them equally for their unique personalities.

Flats, basically because I tower over my husband as it is, I don’t need anymore lift, LOL.

    • Tawny Weber says:

Debbie, towering in heels probably isn’t’ good *g*

Thats one of the things I love about cats and dogs, too – like people, they are all so different 🙂

  • Choices are sometimes too difficult, aren’t they, Tawny?

    Godiva…caramels or salted caramel bar

Margaritas…peach if it’s available. Never cared for beer of any kind!

Flats…I like my ankles in one piece!

    SEALS…they are quite yummy!!
Dogs…I love their disposition, their trust, their cold noses

Chocolate…I mean, is there really a choice?

I, unfotunately can’t be around star-gazer lilies too long, their scent triggers a migraine. But i love those little lilies and tiger lilies. TULIPS!! Love me some Tulips…and aren’t I lucky they’re in season now! And roses and Irises, and hydrangas!!

Iced sweet tea and hot spiced tea or hot hybiscuc tea.

    • Tawny Weber says:

LOL Suz, sometimes its hard and sometimes it’s not (choosing, that is *g*) Usually I’m pretty decisive, mostly from pure pickiness.

You have my mouth watering at the idea of salted caramel!!! I loooove!

Stargazers scent can be overwhelming. Like you, my gramma is super allergic (gets migraines from them) so I cant’ have them around if she’s here. Oh, but the rest that you list? Gorgeous!!!

  • Joan Kayse says:

    Afternoon (here in KY)

Godiva. We only get See’s around here during the holidays. I LOVE dark chocolate LIME truffles. First had them when we got the “sorry” box at National in Dallas that one year.

That said, I have really developed a blah attitude toward Milk chocolate…it’s dark all the way except in ice cream then I’ll take a French Vanilla every time

Of the two, Margharita’s Sorry…Frozen. Esp. Strawberry

I think I have a great foot for heels….I just can’t walk in them 🙁 So flats for me.

And will all due respect to Daisy Mae and Rusty…it’s cats for me! I just enjoyed bedmaking with Grayson. I don’t know WHAT he thought was under the sheets but he skittered around pouncing on it the whole time. Took me 20 min. LOL

And Tulips. Absolutely my favorite cut flower. And Geraniums.

    • Tawny Weber says:

ROFL JoanieT 🙂 I knew you’d pick cats. That’s okay, my dog doesn’t mind 😉

LOL I don’t remember the “I’m Sorry” chocolates- I’ll bet they were good, though!!

I’m with you on the margarita having to be frozen, too. Has to be! Just has to.

  • Debbie Oxier says:

Russell Stover chocolates for me, no alcohol, give me a diet coke, will choose chocolate over vanilla any day, wildflowers, love cats-have four, and while I wish I could wear heels, I can’t because of back problems, so flats for me. Did I forget anything? Oh, soda, can’t stand iced tea. As for SEALs, I like just about any of them!

  • Jo Robertson says:

Congratulations on your recent honors, Tawny! You are my fave, absolutely fave, Blaze writer ever!!

You and I must be candy sisters. I love Sees (although I try to avoid it for obvious reasons), and nuts and chews head my list with the brittles next.

    • Tawny Weber says:

Jo!!! Big hugs and thank you so much! I love being your favorite Blaze author *ggg*

LOL as much as I love Sees, every time I see someone comment that they can’t get Sees where they live, I think ‘wow, I’d lose weight’ Gotta love that Sees!!!

  • Susan Sey says:

Hey, Tawny! Congrats on all the kudos lately! So well-deserved!

You know, when it comes to food, I’m not easy to please. It’s got to be utterly fantastic for me to spend my money & my calories. I don’t eat stuff any more just because it’s free, or because it’s ‘tradition.’ (My family is welcome to eat hot dogs for dinner if we’re at a carnival. I’ll stay hungry until real food becomes available, thank you.)

But I am so impressed with your being soda free for 20+ years! I struggle to kick the Diet Coke habit & have been struggling for probably that long. I’ll continue to struggle for another twenty, probably.

I’m going to try iced tea again. Is there a particular flavor that rocks your socks? Share!

    • Tawny Weber says:

Susan thank you!!!! You are so sweet 😀

LOL see-thats exactly how I feel about food. Add in that I’m vegetarian and there are a lot of limits on choices. I’ll go hungry over eating something I don’t like. Unfortunately, there is plenty of readily available bad stuff that I love :-\

Dropping soda might have been easy of rme because we never had it in the house when I grew up. My mom only drank iced tea or water –which made soda a treat that I overindulged in at great frequency in my teens and all the way until I was pregnant with my first daughter. The dr. said the sugar and caffeine were bad during pregnancy, so off the soda I went. I just never went back 😀

Hmm, flavors? I’m so boring. I drink Lipton black tea. I’ll do an English or Irish breakfast tea if it’s hot, though. See… boring 😉

  • Tawny, wow, haven’t you had such an exciting time lately. It’s been lovely to cheer you on. Congratulations again!

    Here’s my answers:

    1. Godiva.
    2. Margaritas
    3. Chocolate
    4. Hothouse (although I love wildflowers too)
    5. Hot tea (I’m a rebel!)
    6. Both.
    7. Flats (used to be heels but I can’t walk in them anymore, sigh)

    • Tawny Weber says:

Hugs and thanks, Foanna 😀 I really appreciate that, and so so appreciate all of my wonderful Bandita sisters at my side during all this craziness. You’re all the best!!!

I want to spread wildflower seeds in the field behind my house to watch them bloom 🙂 They are so pretty! But every time I’ve tried this, the people who mow the field hack them down. Grrr.

  • Pissenlit says:

    SEALs, in general? 🙂

Sees or Godiva: Godiva. I’m unfamiliar with Sees.

Margarita or Beer: Yes, please! Oh uh, I guess…….margaritas (yes, plural). 🙂

Chocolate or Vanilla? Chocolate, almost always! (I do love me some French vanilla ice cream and vanilla bean cheesecake)

Hothouse or Wildflowers: I like both but hothouse squeaks by for the win.

Iced tea or Soda: Iced tea(sweetened)!

Dogs or Cats: Dogs…because i’m somewhat less allergic to them as I am to cats.

Heels or Flats? Heels…but only if they’ve got a good amount of heel to them. None of the itty bitty ones otherwise I’d prefer flats.

    • Tawny Weber says:

LOL In general or specifically 😉 I’m easy.

Oh man, I hear you on the chunky heels! I love big heels, wedges even more.

      Here’s to many margaritas!!!

  • cindy reifel says:

    All of the Seals Books!
    Don’t drink alcohol.
Chocolate and I love German chocolate cake, too!
    Hothouse flowers. I love orchids
Southern gal, so it’s iced tea all the day with me.
Love dogs and cats, but dogs are and have always been my favorite.
Flats all the way because I have a bad back.

    • Tawny Weber says:

HI Cindy 😀 mm, German Chocolate Cake!! Its my favorite, too 😉 And I have to ask, is your iced tea sweetened? Mine isn’t.

Ouch on the back, I hate it when our bodies make certain fashion choices impossible. But yay on all the SEAL’s 😉 Thank you!

  • Mozette says:

    Sees or Godiva?

I’m not sure what these are… but seeing you showed a picture? Well, the chocolate cake 😀

    Margarita or Beer?

    Neither… I don’t drink alcohol… but I do love Hank’s Root Beer… it’s fully imported and chock full of that sugary goodness… 😛

    Chocolate or Vanilla?

    Chocolate.. 😀

    Hothouse or Wildflowers?

Well… wildflowers are lovely.. .but Hothouse flowers are hard to grow.. so Hothouse flowers.

    Iced tea or Soda?

Iced tea – and I have a great recipe one of my friends from South Carolina gave me where you use lime instead of lemon in it – and it give it a nice fresh taste. 😀

    Dogs or Cats?

    dogs… I love dogs.

    Heels or Flats?

Flats. If I have to run, or dance, well, I can. 😉

    • Tawny Weber says:

      HI Mozette 🙂

Sees and Godiva are chocolatiers and candy makers 😉 but yes yes yes, that chocolate cake is my favorite LOL

Oh, sugary goodness is always the best! And how interesting, I’ve never had lime with tea. I might have to try it. Thanks for the suggestion 😀

      • Mozette says:

And while we’re chatting about lime in food… if you’re partial to pancakes, try out sprinkling them with a bit of sugar (brown or raw sugar for me but it’s just taste) and a squeeze of lime instead of lemon… it does taste different, but it’s very nice. 😀

I find that lemons have too much of a tarte taste to them… and limes are more clean and sweet. 🙂

  • Tonya C. says:

Hi Tawny! Since we don’t have Sees candy in AL, I’ll have to go with Godiva on this one. The Blue Lagoon Margarita from Ruby Tuesday’s is great! Never acquired a taste for beer. 🙁 Chocolate all the way. I love wildflowers because they are so bright in color. I’m a Southern Sweet Tea fan if it’s made right. I’m not really a pet person, but if I had to choose I would choose a dog because I had one growing up. As for shoes, it it’s schlepping around the house give me flats, but on date night the Heels come out. 🙂

  • Debbie Mccreary says:

German chocolate is my go to also. Home made or bought it really doesn’t matter. Bare foot or flip-flops. And sexy seals and more sexy seals for me please.
