They’ve just announced the finalists for the Australian Romantic Book of the Year Award (the R*BY), the big local contest for published romance. I’m delighted to say that MIDNIGHT’S WILD PASSION is a finalist! Huzzah! Winners will be announced at the gala conference dinner on Saturday 18th August on the Gold Coast.

MIDNIGHT’S WILD PASSION by Anna Campbell is a finalist in the 2012 Oklahoma Romance Writers of America National Readers Choice Award. MIDNIGHT has also just finaled in the 2012 Phoenix Desert Rose RWA Golden Quill Awards.
Two Banditas have finaled in the Wisconsin Romance Writers of America Write Touch Readers’ Awards. Donna MacMeans’s REDEEMING THE ROGUE and Anna Campbell’s MIDNIGHT’S WILD PASSION have both received the nods in the historical category as the best books of 2011. Good luck, girls!

We’re so proud that Christina Brooke’s Heiress in Love is a 2012 RITA finalist! For those of you who don’t know what that means, a RITA is the romance industry’s equivalent of the Oscars for published authors! You may recall that the Banditas are all Golden Heart finalists – the industry’s equivalent of the Oscar for unpublished authors. Romance Writers of America honours the best in published romance novels, as judged by their published members. The winners will be announced at their annual conference in July, in Anaheim.
