All About Tawny Weber

I love romance. Happily ever after, hot love scenes… all the good things in life.

For a long time, I was content to explore this enticing world through books. Then, wow – I found out it can happen in real life. I met my husband, who showed me that all those wonderful, magical feelings described in the books are real. Hey, what d’ya know, fiction really IS based in reality.

So I decided to pursue the dream of writing a book. Soon the dream became an addiction. I joined RWA in 2002, finaling in the Golden Heart contest three times before selling to Harlequin Blaze in 2006. In 2012 I'll be celebrating my 16th Harlequin Blaze novel hitting the shelves, including the launch of my Undercover Ops series: Sex & Lies.

I do have other dreams that I’m happily tending: my own real-life hero husband and our two children. Our Northern California home, an ode to ideas and obsessive redecorating/remodeling. Good thing my hero is handy with a saw. Gardening, scrapbooking, crafting and an incredibly supportive family round things out.

Tawny's Fun Facts

I'm a craftt-o-holic! You name a craft, I've probably tried it. Scrapbooking is my all-time favorite, though.  Probably because it combines two of my favorite things, visual creative expression and family.  Other than scrapbooks, I collect dragons and unicorns, love the color purple and could happily live on popcorn.

10 Perfect Questions

Next week is my and my husband’s anniversary.  And as sappy as it sounds, I love him more now than I did the day he almost put my ring on the wrong finger because I nervously corrected him at the altar when he tried to put it on the right one (which prompted the brilliantly insightful advice from my father later – as of this day forward, he told my husband, you’ll always be wrong.  Even when you’re right.  Just get used to it). I love the life we’ve created together and how much stronger we are now than we

Spring is Springing

The Spring Equinox is almost upon us, which brings so many wonderful things to mind.  Babies and blooming flowers, little lambs bouncing over a field of new green grass, beginnings and oh, so many new possibilities.  I really don’t have a favorite time of the year, because I can always find something awesome about whatever month is on the calendar, but spring always seems to have that extra spark of something special. It could be because my youngest daughter was a spring baby or that I was married in the spring.  Or maybe it is all those flowers.  I love

Is It Okay To Lie?

Liar Liar, Pants on Fire!  That saying makes me shudder.  I’m really not a fan of lying.  Growing up, I was exposed to a lot of vices.  Of all of them, lying is the one that always seemed to bother me most.  Recently my daughters and I were with friends talking about our favorite Disney movies.  Someone mentioned Pinocchio and my girls shook their head and said, “Mom wouldn’t let us watch that.”  The looks I got!  What a mean mom, right?  But to me, the message of that movie was the payoffs of lying.  Yeah, yeah, I know there
