I know, can you believe it? It started innocently enough. Stacked on my desk and my filing cabinet were all these…books! Now, before you panic and believe I’d throw those out like yesterday’s trash, fear not. I’ve steadily been reading my way through the pile. Big deal, you say. We’re all readers, aren’t we? We all have these unwieldy stacks of books, that no matter how hard we read, the pile just keeps growing, like the blob, slowly taking over a space, a room or even a house. Gold trimmed sconces light the slate tiled entryway as the couple steps inside. A grand spiral staircase leads both up and down from the foyer. Large antique oak doors line the octagonal room.
