Today we are thrilled to have Carla Neggers with us! Carla is The New York Times bestselling author of more than 60 novels including her latest release, That Night on Thistle Lane. Welcome, Carla. We’re so glad you could spend time with us in the lair today. Your backlist is extensive (and impressive!) Has your writing changed over the years? Your writing routine? Today we have erotica author Temple Rivers returning to the Lair to discuss her latest release, erotic novella, “Improper Seduction.” Temple: Hi, Jo, and thanks to the Romance Bandits for having me back. Jo: I’m curious, and I’m sure our readers are too, about how and why you came to write erotic stories. Temple: That’s a good question. In one word: money. Sex sells and modern women seem to like more spiciness in their romance novels. Witness the popularity of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” trilogy by EL James. Jo: What distinguishes erotica from plain old smut, though?

My guest today is NY Times bestselling author Grace Burrowes. Her historical romances featuring the Windham family have totally captured me with their strong characters and deep emotions, and I’m eager for each new book. Grace will talk with us today about the experience of writing a long series. Welcome, Grace! For those new to the series, maybe we could start with a brief description? “Lady Eve’s Indiscretion” is the seventh book in a series that’s now envisioned to include eight novels and four novellas. The central characters are the eight Windham siblings, their parents, and a few friends and

Mad cats, shy friends, and wild rakes: It was a ton of fun to be here, Banditas! I have long admired the warm, fun community you have built here, and you made me feel so welcome. Special, cherry-on-top thanks to Joan for hosting me. You’re the best! Readers, thanks for sharing your time and stories–fun, moving, and thought-provoking. And the winner: Chelsea B, who got into the spirit and metaphorically pushed the button by saying, heck yeah, she could use some love. I’m gonna heart attack you with a copy of THE TYPEWRITER GIRL, girl! Cheers, all! Chelsea B. Please

For you who have read or watched the animated version of Alice In Wonderland, (Or even the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp version), you will understand when I say, I have fallen down the rabbit hole. In the story when Alice goes down the hole, she moves from one odd scene to another, seemingly without any rhyme (or sometimes too many of them) or reason. But on she goes, jumping from cottages with strange biscuits to eating mushrooms with opium smoking caterpillars to tea parties with a Mad Hatter and March Hare, to a game of croquette with the Red Queen of
